Parent Survey


ELPAC testing will take place at STMS between February 4 and February 14. All English Learners will be tested in Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. Please see the attached flyer for additional information about ELPAC testing.  Resources to prepare for ELPAC testing and understand ELPAC scores can be found at the website, Starting Smarter at https://startingsmarter.org. Please contact Karen Goldberg at kgoldberg@ltusd.org if you have any questions. Would you like to volunteer in the new year? Our PACK (Parents Always Care for Kids) Parent volunteer group has logged nearly 300 volunteer hours so far this year!  STMS invites you to join the growing group of parents and community members offering their time and energy to support our STMS students. Come to the front office to sign up or contact Mrs. Goldberg at kgoldberg@ltusd.org with any questions. You can also contact our volunteer coordinator Cristi Creegan at cristicreegan@gmail.com.  Our next volunteer training meeting will be held on January 6, at 2:10 in room 13.

Timberwolf Pat-on-the-Back student recognition program: Congratulations to the 57 students honored last trimester with a Timberwolf-Pat-on-the-Back!  We are grateful for your acts of kindness, responsibility, honesty, service, and helpfulness. We would like to recognize our first new recipients for Trimester 2:  Aidan Shook, Lily Weitzel, Yahir Marquez Montes, and Cameron Bridges-Walker. We are proud of you and grateful for your part in creating a positive STMS community.

All parents and visitors must enter STMS through the front office.  If you need to leave the office to go into the school, you must sign in and wear a visitor pass on a lanyard.  Return the lanyard and sign out when finished.

REPORT INCIDENTS OF BULLYING:  An anonymous student-level Bully Reporting System enables the safe and secure reporting of bullying incidents. Bullying in our public schools has always been a concern to parents and school administrators. The issue has gained more serious attention recently. We now see widespread media coverage on the serious consequences, injuries and educational damage that result from being the victim of such incidents. Help stop bullying.
