As we complete the first trimester and move into 2nd trimester this is a great opportunity to refresh the expectations we started the year with. We have had a great start to the year and we know we can continue to build on the positive culture at STMS by having all students adhere to the expectations for behavior.
Below are some graphics of specific policies around "electronic devices" , "disturbance of schools", and "tardies".
In addition to these specific policies, please remember:
- there is no gum allowed at STMS
- students are expected to keep their campus clean and throw their trash away.
- there is a "no snowball" or throwing snow in any shapes at STMS
- rough play is never allowed
Finally remember to always practice our P.R.I.D.E. expectations for Timberwolf students:
Be Prepared
Be Respectful
Have Integrity
Be Determined
Be Engaged
Let's have a great 2nd trimester Timberwolves!!!

November has arrived! With it we know winter and snow are on the way! As such please plan ahead for the snow that we know will come. When we have snow and school is still in session, please plan accordingly. We know this can be difficult with dynamic winter conditions but when possible leave more time for travel to school in the morning. Unless there is a delayed start or cancelation school will start at 8:55.
When arriving at school in cars please be patient with drop off and pick up as the safety of our students, parents, and staff depends on everyone taking their time and observing traffic directions and patterns.
If riding busses please dress accordingly for bus stops and know that the district has a winter plan for "main bus stops only".
LTUSD has a process for determining whether to cancel school (or have a delayed start). This includes looking at whether our busses can run safety at the "main bus stops only, evaluating the safety of our campuses for staff and students, and will we be able to successfully take students home. Decisions of this nature are very difficult and we understand the impact they have on the community. Every effort will be made to let our community know as soon as possible if there is a cancelation or adjusted schedule.

Congrats to the following students for winning our weekly “Timberwolves P.R.I.D.E.” raffle drawing.
P.R.I.D.E. stands for Positive, Respectful, Integrity, Determined and Engaged. These students (and many others) demonstrated one or more of these traits at STMS! They each received a small gift card for winning the raffle. Keep up the great work Timberwolves!

The STMS Library would like to send out a huge thank you to Lift Literature and The Great Library Refresh Project of SLT. Lift Literature has been working tirelessly in the community to raise funds for the LTUSD Libraries. Here at STMS, our Library just received over $1,000 in new books! Students have been making wonderful requests for new and relevant books and we are overjoyed to be able to bring those requests to our Library. In this age of screens and phones, it is important to never forget the power of books! If families would like to get involved and donate, please visit Lift Literature at https://www.liftliterature.com/donate.
