Workouts starting at STHS
South Tahoe High School would like to extend an invitation to the 8th graders at South Tahoe Middle School.
Starting on Tuesday, March 5th, we are excited to offer after-school workouts for 8th-grade students at South Tahoe High School for the 9th year in a row. The workouts will take place every Tuesday and Thursday after school hours and open to all. Students should ride bus G to the high school.
The workouts will commence at 3:40 PM and conclude promptly at 4:25 PM. Parents are welcome to pick up their athletes at the designated circle at the specified time.
We believe that these workouts will not only promote physical fitness but also foster a sense of community and teamwork among the students. It is a great opportunity for them to engage in healthy activities and build lasting friendships, and get to know the STHS campus a little more before entering next year as freshman.

This is a communication from High Sierra Softball:
Hello Families and Friends of High Sierra Softball.
We are pleased to announce that the 2024 softball season registration is now open! Beginning today, February 1 thru March 30 you can register your player for the 2024 season. You might notice a few changes this year. We have decided going forward, we will be more inline with USA Softball's age requirements. We welcome any questions you may have. Please send them to [email protected]
We have been working hard in the last few months on planning the 2024 spring season, and we appreciate all of your patience and support as we work through all the details. One major detail that we need your help with is our 3 open board positions. If you feel like you might be interested in helping or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you! Please email our Vice President Dani Guy at [email protected] for more information. We can not express enough how much our league relies on help from parents like you. Not only as board members, but also team coaches, assistant coaches, umpires, and general volunteering. Our next board meeting is Wednesday February 7, 2024 at 6:30pm at the City of South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center located at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd in the Aspen room. All board meetings are open and we encourage you all to come and show your support, participate and learn of ways to help.
We have our Opening Day event set for Sunday April 21, 2024. We have a lot of fun ideas for the day, which include opening ceremony, music, team introductions, food and of course live games of softball!! We will of course also need volunteers for our opening day ceremony. Last but not least. We can't play without coaches, umpires and team parents. As you navigate through registration you will see a volunteer link to select. If you are interested please sign up and we will reach out to you with further details and requirements.
High Sierra Softball thanks you for registering your daughters to play softball this year, and your consideration in volunteering your time where able. We are so excited and are looking forward to a great 2024 season of softball!!
Thank you for reading this. We can't wait to see everyone on the field Sunday April 21, 2024 to kick off our 2024 season
