Greetings,
My name is Profe. Jorge M. Gonzalez and I teach 6th TWBI Social Studies. I am a dependable, methodical, and creative bilingual instructor that is passionate about teaching. I would consider myself personable, patient, honest, and thus I work well with other teachers. I am honored to work with colleagues which I consider to be of the highest character.
Before becoming a South Lake Tahoe resident, I lived in Los Angeles. GO Dodgers!!!!! Teaching is my passion but I also like hiking, bike riding, playing soccer, and badminton. I worked at Leslie Sacks Contemporary in Santa Monica, California for a decade as a professional art photographer. Consequently, I was published in Annandale Galleries, Sydney, Australia. The publication included Picasso drawings, paintings, etchings, lithographs, and ceramics.

Students participated as wax statues in our STMS- A Night at the Museum exhibit . Each student picked their own historical figure and were in costume. This was an opportunity for parents, friends, teachers, staff, and administrators to watch 6th grade TWBI students showcase their bilingual and bi-literate skills. The audience had the opportunity in the action by pressing the S or E button to start the presentations. On one hand students had marked a S for Spanish and an E for English, then their presentation would be activated once the button was pressed. This was our 6th annual STMS- A Night at the Museum showcase.
